Look at the Date Code in the Trans Serial Number, immediately following the Letter Code: The first two digits indicate the Calendar Date The second two digits indicate the Calendar Month ie: 01 = January, etc. The third SINGLE digit indicates the year ie: 0 = 80 or 90, 1 = 81 or 91 5 = 85, etc. Note: 0's or 1's depend on the Letter code to detrmine 80 or 90 series. The serial number follows after this. -- Jim Thompson 84 Westfalia 2.1 "Ole Putt" 73 K Ghia Coupe "Denise" 72 411 Station Wagon "Pug" oldvolkshome@gmail.com http://www.oldvolkshome.com ********************************** On 5/22/06, Zoltan <zolo@foxinternet.net> wrote: > > Hi guys, > I have three transmission and I don't know which is younger or older.
