You're sure it's the valve inself and not the Idle Controller that runs it? Those valves are pretty robust. The crazy little analog computer that operates the valve, not so much. Supposedly the earlier versions of the controller, 251 907 393B, are more prone to failure than the later 251 907 393D (the A and C revisions, I believe, are the euro version).
