For those "other" uses, we have a cheap porta potta. It even has a small water tank so it can "flush". The black water tank unsnaps, and you can dump it into any toilet.

I usually prefer natures facilities, but the porta pot is great for crowded campsites (which we avoid) and very cold nights.

My wife loves the porta pot.
