Subject: Lyme - LVC
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Hi again,

I have had several inquirys about Lyme and requests for more info, so I thought I would post the best websites I know on the subject:

www.ilads.org or www.lymedisease.org or www.lymediseaseassociation.org

Check it out, there is a lot to read, but everyone should know that Lyme and the associated dieases are pretty much epidemic in the US and that there is a huge medical community, especially at Yale for some reason, that simply will not acknowledge chronic Lyme, which, believe me, exists. I believe I know why, but it's all my opinion, so I'm not going to post it here....$$$...oops, did that slip?

If you get the rash, you have Lyme. If you get a tick bite, go get tested by a specialist in Lyme. If you have strange symptoms that doctors can't explain (you can find these on the www.ilads.org or www.lymedisease.org or www.lymediseaseassociation.org) then get tested by a specialist in Lyme, even if you are quite sure you have never had a tick bite as few even know they have even had on tick on them.

The symtoms range for aches and pains to rage, to fatigue, to memory loss, to loss of control of limbs, to death.

Remember, the LVC of all this is that we Vanangon owners tend to love the outdoors and camping, hiking, etc.

I hope this covers it, and I hope that those that have responded to my post with messages of sick loved ones with Lyme or the other diseases, get some support.

Anyone can p-mail me if they really need my support on this. I'll do my best and consider it my contribution to Lyme awareness.
