If your 91 van has the built-in side table, the older rear seat won't fit. On models with the table, the driver's side wall panel bulges out so the table can recess into it. Then they made the passenger side panel bulge out too, to match for aesthetics. With these hard plastic molded side panels installed a narrower bench seat was required. If your 91 never had the side table, normal side panels and normal width bench were used and the older one should also fit. The holes for mounting the older seat will be there in the body but your panels might not have holes for all of them.
