When helping out a buddy who owned a FLAPS several years ago on weekends, we
sold Gates products, which are of excellent quality.  The Gates 3225 hose is
what is commonly used on FI systems and is more than adequate for the
Vanagon FI system.  I have a few pieces of this hose on my 84 Westy with no
observable problems to date.
