Hi,

I will have to throw my 2 pennies in. We use our camper quite a bit - the top goes up and down after every shower to make sure the top stays fresh. (It doesn't rain all that often here.) Kids like to play in it like a tree house. etc. So it gets used.

I was disappointed to find that after 2.5 years, the seal "pipe" began to separate from the seal. In other words, |o became | o. I tried black adhesive, but that didn't last very long. I just don't think the design stands up to rigorous use. I also think that had I been very cautious about how I keep the tent tucked in when putting the top down, would have helped.

I pulled off the seal pipe entirely and am thinking of going to use household weatherstripping instead. Otherwise, I'll shell out some more cash and be more cautious with the tent and/or reinforce the bonding between the two components.

Conrad
