Subject:      question about carat/wolfsburg "lowering" springs

anyone know if the factory "lowered" springs offered on the '89-'91 Carat and
wolfsburg  are the same "lowered" springs that were used on the '87-'88
wolfsburg pass vans? same ride height, part number and all?   they look to be the
same,  but from the discussions about ride height year to year, i wanted to
make sure the 87-88 wolfy springs were the same as the 89-91 carat wolfy
springs..ie, that they would lower the van the same amount..   i do know for example,
that a '87 GL pass van sits slightly higher than a '91 GL pass van..


 i have both '87 wolfy and '90 carat parts vans here but the springs are
still on the vans and its hard to tell as some of the tires are flat.
