i don't know anyone towing one but if you play your cards right you could be the proud owner of a westy cut in-half as a trailer that is for sale on ebay! i suppose i'll do the samething to my syncro if i ever lose a headlight or get a flat tire, i mean what else could i do at that point but cut the entire front end off??

sorry, i just feel that is a shame to do that to these already dwindling numbers of vanagons. i mean come on if it was in a head on collision it would prolly be the same amount of work to get the body straight again rather then cut the whole front end off and then seal it and finish it to look nice. i mean really, i do body work (as much as i hate it) but that would be a BIG job to do and you are totally limiting yourself to a very specialized market if you wanted to sell. we are already in a specialized market to begin with. my $.02 jason 87 syncro westy
