I have a 91 GL. The front end cannot be properly aligned because the bolts holding the upper control arms are rusted solid. The mechanic I go to is reluctant to get too aggressive with them because of the work that would be involved if they shear. I also have a 90 GL with a less rusty front end, which I'm parting out anyway. How hard would it be to remove the control arms from that one, to re-use on the 91? Does anyone know of a link to instructions on how to do this? Bentley is really unhelpful for front ends later than October 1984! TIA Steve Edwards, Chicago, 91 Urabus, parting out a 90 and an 84. |
