Well, I finally gathered up enough courage to do battle with the slave and master clutch cylinders on my '82, 2liter, Westy. I rolled over the master cylinder like a Nazi invading Poland but the slave cylinder was more like the Russian front. Unfortunately, the "S" shaped hydraulic pipe that attaches to the slave cylinder was a casualty of war. In fact, it looks like much of the hydraulic line needs to be replaced. Everything is seized together. Does anyone have a good source for the S-pipe, the rubber hose and the coupling that attaches to the rubber hose? I think I watched too many war movies this weekend. Best Regards, Jim Stout '82 Westy 2liter Madison, Wisconsin |
