So I am just about ready to put the interior of the van back after doing the body work and wanted to get feed back on what I was gonna try 1. tape 1" 1/4"thick wide foam strips to the van panels (provide an insulating air space) 2. attach refleto foil to the 1" foam strips (the wrap for hot water heaters) http://www.pathcom.com/~kovacs/Reflecto-Foil.htm 3) get 1-2" thick Blue styrofoam SM & attach to the reflect foil 4) attach more 1" wide, 1/4" thick foam strips to the SM 5) cut flecto foil & attach to the back of the interior panel 6) pop the interior panels back into place (I might have to get loger panel clips to account for the foil now attached i guess) So basically the reflecto foil sanwiches the styrofoam SM on both side and the 1" foam strips provide air insulation The reflecto foil will make the van quite air tight, any one think this might be an issue with condensation ?? comments |
