I had to remove my gas tank on my 87 westy to remove a trashed cooling pipe, anyway I am going to replace most of the fuel line while I can and was wondering if anyone has ever switched the position of the fuel filter and fuel pump. It seems backwards that the filter would be placed after the pump and I figured I would just switch the positions of the two and put the filter BEFORE the pump. I haven't looked at how the brackets are attached to the frame yet. Any comments or suggestions?
