That is well and good but the light REALLY has nothing to do with how the engine runs. It comes on every 60k miles. It will come on every 60k miles even if the van is towed behind a motor home and never actually driven. There is a mile counter box up front under the driver, connected to the front wheel. Whenever the mile counter counts enough miles, it will turn on the light. Your problem sounds more like a Temp 2 sensor problem.
