I reluctantly drilled these out when I put through the wires for my third brake light. Turned out to be no problem, and I put new rivets in with my $5 pop rivet gun I've had for 10 years. Stay tuned for my third brake light install procedure. (Thanks for the inspiration, Paul G.!) I'll have the writeup done sometime before the end of _this_ millenium. In my 90 westy, I want to remove the rear passenger side d-pillar panels immediately adjacent to the rear window. This panel has snaps mounted onto it to hold the mosquito net. Do these snaps just pop off? They appear to be riveted into the body, so maybe they need to be drilled out. Advice or experience here? - Kevin |
