Re a Westy, are the tire pressures indicated on the door plate different from those on a non-westy Vanagon? What do westy owners run for tire pressures? My 83.5wbx full westy (cdn version) is equipped with Hankook LT tires with a max pressure of 65 psi. No I don't run them at 65. The PO ran them at 50 psi which I found too harsh as any little imperfection in the road became a jarring experience. I currently have them at 10 psi over the door plate numbers with a 7 psi differential front to rear. OK? Too little or too much. I'm interested in what others run under their westys. |
