Mark,
Main problem is that your heater control valve is not closing completely.
Tis lives above your spare tie and is relatively easy to access and to
adjust; you need to pry the clip off the cable housing, move the heater and
handle to the fully closed position, and replace the clip. Be careful as
the little buggers tend to fly away easily when pried off. If you need a
