I didn't go stainless on hose clamps, but anything else--especially exhaust--that I remove I try to replace with stainless. I replace weeping head gaskets a year and a half ago and went all stainless with the replacement exterior bolts. They are as nice and shiny and rust-free today as the day I put them in. There are so few of them, your wallet won't feel the difference with this important upgrade. Go for it. Jim
