Hello All, Itıs wet and rainy in New York today... I was interested in painting my 87 Wolfsburg Exterior Fiberglass Body molding and bumpers, what the best paint, process/ methods? I was thinking of just cleaning them off (not sure with what?), Then filling the cracks with fiberglass and resin, sanding smooth, using some bondo, Spraying with Primer- Gray. Light sanding. Clean. Then spray paint. My question is what to paint it with... I see Lacquer, Enamel, or Latex. I also see that Plasti-dip has a black rubber spray that would be a little more rubbery protective. What are your thoughts? I heard that SEM makes a bumper paint, anyone know of this stuff? Thanks in advance. |
