Just got my 85 Westfalia GL out of hibernation and I'd forgotten how much goo i'd gotten on the rear mattress/cushion. Mostly tree sap and a few unidentifiable smudges. Won't come out in the regular wash of course. Can anyone recommend a good cleaner that won't ruin the fabric? Also, say I'd just been given an old vanagon (which resembled a used lawnmower from my neighbour) that hadn't run in 7 years. I guess the fuel would have gone bad? Should I just let er rip and hope for the best or is there anything i should do before starting it? If it doesn't start I can always use my electric mower I mean vanagon. Thanks Jeff 85 Westfalia 99 Toro |
