Subject:      Follow up on cold start problem.

I posted about a week or so ago on a cold start problem... almost all FI
components were check, re-check and-or replace on that van:

The problem was:
To start the van i had to press the gas pedal to the floor, even then...
after start, poor running with frequent stall or near stall for about 4
minutes until engine was warm enough... after that, a perfect runner.

I won't explain everything that i did to find this problem, but one thing, i
had no spare digijet (no i have some comming, thanks to the list) AFM and no
computer, but the reading/test was postive when i tested the AFM

Well, the AFM was the main problem... a leaky injectors didn't help also.

But, be aware that the AFM may not always be the reason for a cold start
problem, many others components could and are often THE reason... now we
know that the AFM is one of them.

I hope this could help a few!

Now, since this AFM is giving me good reading (voltmeter), i will split open
this one and see if this could be fixed.

Men i sound so serious.... oufffff...
