Subject: Front windows chrome strip

(This is NOT about the plastic "chrome" strips that I've already pulled from Mellow Yellow's windshield, side windows, and rear hatch window.)

I have discovered that the outer scraper and upper rubber strips that I bought over a year ago from Bus Depot don't fit my driver and passenger door windows. The corroded original parts have larger grooves in them to accommodate these cheesy chrome strips that go around the window openings in the doors.

I have an inquiry in with Bus Depot to see about swapping the rubber bits for the kind that fit the chrome strips, but that's gonna be a pain for them, and, frankly, I don't like these door strips anyway. Any reason I can't just yank these strips and use the standard rubber parts?
