Got the Audiovox CCS100 cruise control system working well today!

To recap, I have the 4-speed manual transmission in my '84 Westy, and I installed the CCS100 using just the coil as the tach/speed input.

Unfortunately, I made two changes at once and I don't know which was more important...

First, I changed the DIP switches on the servo unit to '5000 pulses per minute' (switch one off, switch two on, I believe).

Second, some additional slack appeared to have developed in the servo cable. I was able to remove two more links off the ball-chain cable.

After these two changes, I had solid cruise control up to 65mph, where I stopped trying to go faster. :)

Some further testing showed that I also didn't even need to use the PVC vacuum chamber we'd built in an attempt to make it work earlier... Oh well.

Hopefully my butt won't be falling asleep so easily anymore. -jrs
