Hello All:


Out of the blue my 1990 Carat developed ominous
knocking sounds coming from the engine
internally...I'm not sure what it is...but it sounds
deadly.


So...I'm looking for options to replace the engine.
Anybody got a used (but GOOD) 2.1L engine they are
selling?


Rebuilt ones also an option I'm looking
into...suggestions?


Anybody selling a Vanagon in the vicinity (I live
about an hour southeast of Pittsburgh...


Any and all input appreciated.
