it's the door weatherstripping, but you usually spot that the first time you
hit it with the hose. Whatever it is, you can't go wrong sealing the
windsield rubber anyway, because it'll inevitably start leaking someday. I
used 3M Heavy Drip-Chek (yep, that's how they spell it) to fill the space
under the outside outer edge of the windshield weatherstripping. Silicone
would probably work too though.
