Mornin'.


Last night I sold a set of wheels/tires to a guy with a really nice '84
Westy with 23k original miles and a Subie 2.2 conversion.  The little old
lady who owned it before him never changed the oil, threw a rod, and sold it
to him for a grand.  Talk about a dream scenario...


What struck me was the front grille.  It was a round 2-headlight grille, but
had a BIG VW emblem in the middle; big like the ones on the 89-91 (or
thereabouts) square grilles.


Has anybody seen these before?  What year(s) did they come on?  I never had
seen one, and it was cool!
