Start with a metric combination wrench and socket set. A 20 pc screwdriver set would be nice too. Or you could just wait for a sale and pick up a 100-200 or 300pc kit. If you want to be able to deal with any problem, than just order 1 of everything from the catalog.. you always wind up needing something else. I just buy special tools as the need arises.
