John C. and I removed mine. Unbolted everything, stowed the support arms up front as per written instructions, and John lifted/supported the back end while I did the front (or visa versa?) from inside the van, walking it toward the back, setting the front end down and going outside then lifting it off and walking it back until it cleared the van. Put it upside down on a couple saw horses to do the removal of that part of the canvas, reinstallation of the new. We're a couple older guys so it's not unmanageable with 2.

Be sure that when you start putting the canvas on at the front/middle, to pull those corners very snug around the two front corners when you screw the alum. moulding back on. I think I could have gotten mine tighter and that would have eliminated a slight crease I have coming down from there. This photo has a fairly good view of what I'm talking about: http://groups.msn.com/BobsPhotoShare/syncrosafari04.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=777

I'm pretty sure the instruction say to start at the front so that if there ends up being any looseness that has to be hidden, it's much easier to do that at the rear, under the back lip of the pop top.
