It's a little box with 4 LEDs and a digital voltmeter wired in to a rotary selector switch. A ribbon cable connects it via a DB-25 jack hard-wired to specific ECU pins. You can either add this jack to your own ECU (requires opening, soldering, etc) or I think you can get one from Van-Cafe.
