Subject: Info on Bad Rear Shocks?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII; delsp=yes; format=flowed

Hey volks! Thanks in advance for any answers here...

I've rebuilt the two rear brakes on my '87 GL and decided to check out the shocks and rear axles while I'm under there...

How much play is considered normal for a rear shock? I've never dealt with these before, and I notice that it's fairly easy to push in and pull out the shock just by hand. Is this right? Should I change these out?

These are probably the stock shocks for my '87 I'm presuming, so I'm pretty sure they need changing...(?) (I've tried to keep up with the shock threads as well so I don't want to get you guys started again on which one is better than the other... I know this list has done that several times in the past few years!)

Thanks again!
