VW gives you 90 percent of the tools needed for working on a Vanagon. a
10mm, a 13mm werench, a regular screw driver and phillips head screw
driver,and a 17mm socket.:>0

Get a 27mm deep socket for many many areas of the vangon. A 24mm for the
steering wheel.combination wrenches.  A very good set of metric allen
wrenches. A hammer.An extra jack. I have a $10 Advnace Auto Parts impact
screw driver for all those crusted up screws I come across.
