Thanks for the numerous quick tips on this, which now brings up another question.

Can the tracks be relocated a bit to the front as the flip and reverse method does indeed leave the knee space a bit crowded.

As an alternative, can the dual seats be adapted to fit an 86 on the second row? Thanks again,

Greetings All, I have an odd question, but perhaps someone on the forum has tried this & can help me a bit. My daughter drives a 1986 Vanagon (Scooby Mystery Machine) and would like to reverse the 2nd row seat so that it faces the third row seat. Is there any reasonable way to do this? The second row seat seems to be mounted in a track arrangement of some type. All help appreciated!
