If you have the cash buy oem plug wires and change the plugs too. Coil would be the next thing after that. If you are a bit short on cash, try looking at your engine on a cold dark wet night and see if you see any sparks aflyin. gary

Why would you spend the money first without trying cheaper alternatives that have been suggested or looking at it at night first. Also why just replace things that you haven't inspected? If the plugs are fine, why replace them? Same for the coil and wires. Bentley has tests for determining if these items are defective.

Since the van runs fine except in the first few minutes when it has been damp, it is unlikely that it is the wires, plugs, or coil. Less than half of a $.99 pack of dielectric grease solved my similar problem several years ago and new plug wires, plugs and coil won't solve the problem if it is the idle control unit behind the right rear taillight.
