Jake's observations are why I sort of went for the "middle" ground by getting this tire in 215/65-16. They're 27" diameter was an improvement from the 28.4" Michelin's I'd had and still they give a great ride and stability. Really good off road tire, too. I went to the Overland BB Kit from BenT to take care of that factor.
