I've wondered how to fix that problem myself, since one of my Mercedes exhibits that same annoying behavior. I've thought about making a small incision every three inches or so, along the backside of the wheel and injecting a little super glue in there. Dunno if that would work or not. The leather wheel I referenced is a German VW factory item offered one year only on the '89 Wolfsburg Edition. It's very nice.
