I haven't compared gauge readings (I'm just now hooking up my oil pressure gauge) but I used 5w50 all last winter and put in a fresh batch this spring prior to driving to BusFusion (600 miles each way) and never had a flicker at the oil light. The 5w50 is MUCH better for cold starts during the coldest of northern Maine winters. Mike '84 GL 7 pass '85 GL Westy Houlton, Maine
