Well Jonce, I don't know what's leaking from your Vanagon, but you don't
have to go through all the hassle of dropping the motor to replace the rear
seal. Just drop the transaxle back and down; there's a lot of movement in
those CV joints!
When you sniff the leaks, are they gear oil or engine oil?
