Im getting two thule spirits with yakima racks... these are high rise yak racks but I'm having two inches cut off the extension.... 

Still trying to decide if I want silver or black (i have a white vanagon)... 

there is still plenty of room for putting up one of those black metal luggage cage supports whatever-you-call-em.... 

having difficulting figuring if it would make more sense for this last addition to go at the front or at the rear... any one done this... ? pics would be helpful...
