Hi Kevin,

Assuming that you're talking about the Canadian side:

STAY AWAY FROM CAMPARK. (Lundy's Lane). That's the site of the annual
"Buses By The Falls" event that is happening this weekend. It has
nice facilities and is close to town, but it's anything but quiet.
The freight trains run right past it at about 55MPH and since there's
a level crossing right next to the park you get serenaded with air
horns regularly throughout the night. There's also karaoke blaring
for a few hours on Saturday nights.... Don't get me started.

KOA is also right next door along the same railway line.

Driving a little further afield to Welland or St Catharines would be
worth the trouble in my book.

If you're staying on the NY side,  I would recommend Angola State
Park, just west of Buffalo off I-90.
