Subject: AC Evap Coil
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

I have a '90 7 passenger Vanagon GL with AC. The evaporator coil in the back, in the plastic housing at the top has a leak. My repair guy (Konrad's AutoHause is Scotts Valley, CA) can't find the correct one. The one I need has the mounting flanges coming straight back off the end of the coil, in a quarter circle to screw into the lower plastic housing. The flange is actually the end cap for the coil as well as the mount. The ones we find have a flanges that go straight up and then bend out at 90 degrees. Does anyone have a clue as to where I can get the correct part? Has anyone modified or made a new mounting bracket to use the other style in my van? TIA Dave Hally
