Subject: Mobil 1: 15W50 NLA? Is 5W50 as good when warm?

I've been having trouble getting 15W50 mobil 1 oil here in the Great White North. Has anyone with an oil pressure gauge used 5W50 and compared it to 15W50? Was there any difference in hot pressure? (In principle there shouldn't be... but real life is a different story!)

I'd do the experiment but at C$30-$40 for the oil it gets expensive!
