I noted today there is a sticky goo (varnish?) a small blob under my ICV area. noted it seeped from the fuel injection line between the rubber line and the protective sleep under it. This line runs between the little fuel check valve/splitter thingy. Is there an adhesive that holds the sleeve to the line and this has seeped out over old age? I doubt this is a leak of sort as FI system usually are under high pressure and I would (or smell) fuel, correct? -- shawn feller, ohio 1986 vw vanagon gl westfalia 1993 vw eurovan gl plus a couple of saabs, boats, jet skis, dog and wife (all require to much maintenance, accept the dog)... www.carboncow.com www.carboncow.net |
