Do you have internet access now? If so, Google - heli-coil "spark plug" rethreading - or the like (read the pros and cons people have posted as well as where to buy/how to use as well as other methods, etc.), or go to the archives: http://gerry.vanagon.com/cgi-bin/wa.exe?S1=vanagon and search from there. If you don't have full internet access you should probably remind folks so you can get a detailed answer via email. Good luck, Robert ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chasteen, Jonathan M. Well I was doing a tune up yesterday and when I was putting the new spark plug in the drivers side front cylinder it started getting snug and then was loose. On a recent trip to TN a couple of months ago this spark plug ended up blowing out while driving but I installed a new one and it tightened up fine. The new one (W7CC) same as I took out wont get tight now. ARRGH!!! I was supposed to go see Chris in PA about some parts but now I cant drive my vanagon. Anyone had this problem? Any help would be great.
