Hi All, I'm swapping to a locking differential in my syncro and was advised to run the hoses for the differential lock while the transmission was out, as it was easier. I managed to remove the controls on the lower portion of the dask as well as the line that runs from the front push pull switch all the way back, attaching to the front diff, T connects into the three ball resovoir underneith, and runs to the very back. Is this line everything? The reason I'm asking is I don't recal ever seeing those three balls on my non-locking syncro. There is another line that runs from the balls forward an disapears into a black box under the steering column. It also runs rearward into the engine bay and I am having a heck of a time thrying to unto the hose clamp on the engine bay end to remove it. Should I be pulling this second hose to install it syncro whiel the transmission is out? I figure some of this stuff must run the cruise control which I am alos removing. Chris |
