hi list, took my van to walmart grants pass, OR, as always for an oil change, asked for mobil 1 15w50 which they had. wanted to pick it up an hour later only to get told they are not going to touch it because it would have a drain plug in a plug, and it would be their store policy not to touch that. Seems I am screwed with my screw in the screw? I really dont get it, as i always took it there. Why does one have two plugs in the plug? because someone messed up the thread? So question, does anyone else have trouble with this or can tell me which places still change my oil? And, is it BAD to have a plug in a plug? The oil is only 500miles old but the van has been sitting for a year with this oil so I am a bit horrified after the recent engine failure on this list after having the van sitting. thanks florian |
