Giving it another listen today with someone else driving, the sound seems to be coming from just between/below the front seats. It's pretty loud on either side, but seems loudest right in the middle (although that's where it's easiest to get an ear on it, too...). Since I already replaced one of the front bearings with no change, maybe it's just road noise? I wonder why it seems so loud.

Argh.
