Subject: Sink pumps out of stock everywhere?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed

I'm striking out on finding a replacement submersible sink pump for Mellow Yellow. Like this one:

http://www.van-cafe.com/vanagon_parts.jsp?ct=404840823&pa=pct&pct=833502825

Ours has failed. You can turn the impeller by hand, but applying 12v results in nothing much happening. Just kind of sits there. I've seen articles about Brad and Angelina's baby that are more interesting.

GoWesty sez, "Out of Stock," Van-Cafe just sold their last one (Peter tells me that near as he knows, there are none in the country; they are expecting a different type to arrive from Germany in 2 - 3 weeks, but until he gets his hands on them he doesn't know how good a replacement the new type is). Vanagain doesn't seem to list sink parts.

Anyone know where there might be one I could get in, say, a week?
