I don't remeber using anything more exotic than a #2 philips-head craftsman screwdriver... but I probably already had the air cleaner and boot off when I discovered that these were loose.

My van was new-to-me at the time, and I tend to familiarize myself with new machines through dissection (these days, I can often get them back together again, too!)
