My thoughts on the different types of blinker plastics....

With a light colored vehicle (Gold, White, Tan, etc.) I like the look
of the "blacked" out look. For those, the smoked blinker plastics are
the way to go. For darker vehicles, the stock orange, or clear look
is the way to go.

However....

If your electrical system and grounds are not up to snuff, putting on
smoked plastics will make your tail lights and signals much harder to
see on the road (I've got them on the GoldBrick and was following
behind it one day noticing how dim the brakes looked). My camper's
electrical system, on the other hand is is excellent shape. Of course
it being a burgundy camper, I'm staying with the stock orange on it.
