I'm in a tizzy to get nicer looking carpet whether its just mats or full on carpet replacement .. 


(actually may be best to start with mats .. as any carpet replacement should probably have good mats to protect it ..)


Any way I have a gray interior carat ... with white exterior ... really want something nice in a charcoal or gray ... or dark gray ... really have no idea if loop or plush is better looking and/or wearing ... 


By looking at pics of carpet on the web I really have no idea what the stuff really looks like .. any feedback would be appreciated .. 


And its too bad they don't seem to make wool and nylons blends for carpet and/or carpet mats .. wool is nice looking .. and doesn't hold odors ... (I can wear merino wool by icebreaker for days on end .. but half a day in a cotton t-shirt .. and I really smell... )
